I created a design with a fixed width comprising of a simple, clean look whilst avoiding the use of flash and other unfriendly extras.
The colours were kept fairly neutral including a subtle splash of orange from the logo into the menu and as the separator from the main page.
The navigation menu contains a mouse hover to display the catalogue hierarchy whereas previously this required a separate page load each time.
Similarly the product description and matching images now expand and zoom without the need to load an additional page.
I have included the ability to create custom white label storefronts for the client so that the website can be offered to large businesses with many internal clients.
Logos, colour schemes and product catalogues are all adjustable for each storefront.
Backend content management processes were added such as banner rotation, user account modification and custom reporting.
